Scott W. Cody, MBA – Partner
Scott began his career in the financial services industry in 1997 after working in market research for a large retailer in his hometown of Rochester, N.Y. Since coming to Colorado in 2001, Scott has grown a practice crafting tailored financial plans for small business owners and individuals. When it comes to financial planning there is no silver bullet, yet, many people do nothing which often is worse. Philosophically he believes people should be working with an independent advisor who is not obligated to an insurance or investment company. Scott is also known for being a good listener – a critical attribute when working with “people who are talking about their dreams, goals, and concerns.” When he’s not working with clients or spending time with his wife at their home in Stapleton, he is fly fishing or hiking in the mountains – or fantasizing about his retirement home somewhere south of the border.
Scott is securities licensed in WY, NM, NY and VA.
